Too Early?

I say no!




Coming back from summer can be a tricky feat, even if its to a familiar classroom, classmates and teacher! This holds true for me also! The first couple weeks are hard to adjust to. So, here is something for you and your child to dip your toes into, so that you are ready when Wednesday, September 2nd arrives!

Second, School will dismiss everyday at 3:45, which is 10 minutes later that last year.

Third, Please make sure that your child is looking at and reading books every day. They should be practicing their writing and counting. It is very easy for people to lose knowledge if they aren't using it.

Fourth, Start early getting them into their school year schedule. That will make the first couple weeks a little easier.

Finally, and I can't express this enough, please tell them that I am looking forward to seeing them in first grade!
